What a session actually feels like
A quiet room. Window light. No rush, no audience, no pressure to perform. Direction the whole way — how to stand, where to look, when to breathe — so you never have to wonder what to do with your hands. The camera waits for the moment you stop posing and start recognizing yourself. That’s the photograph.
Dark, painterly, high-contrast black-and-white work, where shadow does the composing and the body becomes sculpture. Mystery over exposure, always. The strongest frames are the ones where something is withheld: a turned back, closed eyes, darkness swallowing half the frame.
The part you’re wondering about
Privacy. Here it is, plainly: a private session is never published — not a single frame — without your separate, written release. Nothing of yours is ever shown to anyone without your say-so. You see your gallery first, in 10 days, and you decide what happens next. That’s not a policy buried in fine print. That’s the promise the whole studio is built on.
And the other worry — cost, commitment: a conversation costs nothing. Payment plans are available, and a $250 retainer is all it takes to hold a date once you’re ready.
The magazine
Embellish Boudoir is also a print editorial magazine. The Muse Edition gives one woman an entire 16-page issue, cover included. The Noir Edition gathers many muses into 28 pages of dark editorial. Both are printed, bound, and kept. Noir covers are earned, never sold, and every featured model receives hand copies.
